Koot Humi, also called Kuthumi, is using three great rays:
The first and the seventh rays are much more direct energies, while the second ray is more enveloping and diffused. It is one of the reasons why He is responsible for these energies that He can use to begin His approach. In order that humanity may help Him and contribute to His work, it must find a similitude of vibration with the first, the second and the seventh rays, or there will be no attraction, no possibility of contact and no way to implant these new energies. Humanity is actually vibrating to the energy of the 1, 3 and 6. It does not have yet the necessary vibratory activity to welcome and to find the synchronicity with the work of Koot Humi. One of the major problems of humanity is the persistence of a very powerful sixth ray. The ardent fire of the sixth ray creates a powerful barrier. Moreover, the sixth ray is the major obstacle to the clear vision of the Plan. Stability and peace are indispensable for the work of Koot Humi. Then evocation must take the place of invocation.
Invocation and Evocation Invocation is a call to have a response from a superior level. It creates a channel between a lower level and a higher level of existence.
Invocation-Evocation is a reciprocal process which permits exchanges and relations between all forms of life and between planetary centers. It is natural for all forms of life and gives the possibility to progress from one level to another. Invocation is based on intention, visualization and projection. It uses dynamic will, a focalized mind, a consecrated desire and a planned activity. It is the tension of the inferior unit which invokes the attention of the superior forces. Evocation stimulates the source of the invocatory life, brings understanding and help. It enables to anchor new energies, new ideas and to set up a closer relation between the higher and the lower levels.
Invocation (stage 1) is related with radiation and evocation (stage 2) is related with magnetism. Stage 1 (active, radiant): it represents a movement towards something, Stage 2 (passive, magnetic): it is to be ready to receive. The necessary conditions to receive are to be calm, listening, silent and peaceful. The energy of the second ray is particularly magnetic. Evocation is not a work to be done but a state of being. This state of receptivity must be cultivated. It is very important to be able to know and to do the two. Things come by evoking the response. It is necessary to be empty to receive the answer. Then we begin to understand things. The new cycle begins the exteriorization of the Hierarchy. Then evocation will become more important than invocation, even if the two are necessary. There is a big transition between the old and the new cycle; everybody has to become more receptive to evocation and less active with invocation. In the last cycle invocation was more important. In the new cycle, evocation is more important. Humanity is still too much under the influence of the sixth and the third rays, more useful in the last cycle and in the invocatory work. In deed invocation is a moving forward, a dynamic impulsion to look further and higher. The invocatory unit is looking for a higher consciousness and asks for help. After identification and fusion with the higher center, the same process is continuied on higher levels. It is what we call the process of evolution. Evocation is a very different process. The evocatory unit is not looking for anything, does not try to go higher or to contact another level of consciousness. With evocation, the individual forgets itself, lets go and disappears in a process of successive retreats. The consciousness goes back into the center. In the process of invocation, the individual traces the lines, going from one point of tension to another. With evocation, the movement becomes circular and centripetal. It is a process of inclusivity in which the consciousness stays in the center. And when the center is inhabited by the energy searching to be anchored on earth, then the light may shine on earth. It must shine out from the center.
With the exteriorisation of the Hierarchy and the powerfull energy it brings, it is not necessary to try to invoke the sources of energy because they are already attempting to anchor on earth. In order for the Great Beings to function through incarnated vehicles, they must first :

Two symbols intersect: the symbol of the cross and the cup: the intersection takes place at the level of the heart. It is a receptacle of energy, a symbol through which a certain kind of energy may flow. It must be built inside of you and not only by visualizing it in the imagination. Begin by standing up. The vertical channel begins above the head, goes down through the vertebral column and deep into the earth. Then bring back your consciousness in the heart and trace a horizontal line on the two sides. Afterwards stay in the center of the heart and visualize the whole cross and after the open cup. After visualizing the cup, stay in the center (it does not matter if you do not see the colors, just try to feel the symbol). Sit down and make the symbol again. Then imagine that your vehicles, physical, emotional and mental, disappear. You become the symbol. Finally, say silently the Evocation of Koot Humi. What is important is your sincere and disinterested attitude. The energy will go where it must go. Stay in this position 5 to 10 minutes. Experiment and see what it brings. When the symbol is really built and you feel it good, then you can do it at any time or place.
Koot Humi comes to help humanity; He needs workers to help him in his work. Everybody can participate in this work of saving, whatever his race, his culture or his religion. All men are brothers.
